Andrić Prize

Andric's last wish was that "part of the funds from his legacy should be used to award the best short story". As of 1976, every October 10 th the Ivo Andrić Foundation has presented the Ivo Andrić Award to the best short story or book of short stories published within the previous year in Serbian.
